"EXPLORING MEXICAN CUISINE: Abuelita's Cocina" v. 2 is based on my grandmother Manuela's and Francisco's one hundred year old Mexican family recipes used in their successful restaurants and tortillerias. The recipes and ingredients have been modified to be healthy alternatives for the modern cook. This book includes "traditional Mexican dishes" as well as Mexican comfort food. Sharon culled indispensable "authentic recipes from her collection of family recipes" into ABUELITA's COCINA, this cookbook is also available as a very economical Kindle format for her readers. The author was born in San Antonio, Texas; currently lives in Central Texas with her husband and two faithful dogs. Sharon, retired from IBM in 2008, she now devotes herself to writing, Philanthropic efforts and enjoys life at both her residences in Texas and New Mexico. Sharon continues to enjoy living a healthier lifestyle, writing cookbooks, short stories and updating her blog and web pages to share her life's experiences and recipes with her readers.
