Reflecting at the twilight of her journey, Andee Nunn understands that moving out of her comfort zone, breaking barriers, and taking risks produced rewarding results. Andee's choices morphed her into a lifelong learner whose path was forever altered by the plethora of students who graced her with their presence.

In room 216, she began acknowledging student voices by listening to their stories. Together, they fought their uphill battles, removed weeds and thorns, cleared their paths toward success. As Andee built their self-worth and validated their concerns, they educated her. She reworked curricula and developed new teaching strategies while learning life lessons and enriching her career. Although she touched many, a few fell through the cracks and still struggle to find happiness. Most have achieved personal satisfaction as teachers, administrators, executives, medical professionals, partners, and parents.
