No one would call these a necessity but they are really useful. Currently have 2 in the front room doubling as a sound system with fire stick (1 might be a little quiet, they are fairly loud in operation but some apps like Netflix are a little more quiet than others). Also got one in the kitchen.

Easy to set up but occasional problems are a tad irritating. Drops out a couple of times a day and sometimes suddenly plays what's on a Dot in another room! If I were more of a techy, no doubt I could solve this easily, but on the whole it works well and I'm satisfied with the sound it produces.
