This true story is about one of those dogs, Boone, a young beagle who lost his hind legs because of abuse. He is rescued from a shelter by a generous family who gives him mobility by fitting him with a wheelchair. Boone thrives in his new loving home and is thrilled to be trained as a therapy dog, helping people overcome anxiety and bringing happiness to many. The story is geared toward children to learn about overcoming adversity but teaches valuable lessons for all ages.

Mor lives in the woods by the sea with her vegan family which consists of one husband and SIX rescue pups. All inspire her every day. She has illustrated 43 books & has created thousands of portraits, since graduating from Syracuse University's BFA program in 2012. Shortly after graduation, Spicer interned and then worked for a small animation studio in NYC while walking dogs part-time. She grew up working in the Spicer Family owned & operated video rental store, turned Toy Store, in Central NJ. Before creating Bark Point Studio, she would use her artistic voice as a caricaturist at local fundraisers while also walking shelter dogs after school.Ever since the age of 4, it's been all about the animals. Diable, Tanya

Tanya Diable is the President and founder of Joey's P.A.W. She started this non-profit in the hopes to make a difference in the lives of dogs who need assistance in mobility. She and her husband, Charlie, adopt dogs with many different special needs and see the joy in having them overcome obstacles and live their best lives. She wants to see that same transformation in the dogs they assist. Boone is 1 of 6 of their special needs dogs and has recently passed his Therapy Dog training certification. Besides her work with Joey's PAW, she spends a lot of time volunteering with Boone in schools, children's hospitals, as well as the Pittsburgh International Airport. For those close to Tanya, her other favorite passion is everything Christmas and especially Hallmark Christmas movies!
