The 1034D serges everything I throw at it. It is easy to adjust tension settings to suit chiffon to denim. Rolled hems are beautiful. Drop the knife, adjust some, tensions, and flatlock seams and hems are easy. The optional presser feet allow sewing elastic and piping.

This machine is excellent but it is not for professionals to benefit only individuals but in terms of excellent manufacture

After much research on beginner sergers or overlock machines, I selected this one. I am not a seamstress and sew more as a hobby. I am getting very close to retirement so I decided to invest more in my sewing hobby. If you are a beginner like me, this machine will amaze you. It’s so cool.

The machine doesn't work as smoothly as the serger I had before, but mine was destroyed in a house fire. It's also noisy. The book would be impossible to understand if I did not previously have a serger. Words on one page, pictures on the next, etc. Very hard to understand.

Very popular serger has been on the market more than 10 years and Is said to be the easiest one to thread. Reasonably priced for a serger. Professional looking seams. Had to watch an up close video to see how to thread lower looper. I was trying to make the thread go where it doesn't.

I bought my 1034D five years ago to sew pillows. As an Independent Contractor for a very busy workroom, serging all cases and welt is mandatory. I can tell you that I use this machine nearly every day and it has held up so well. It is basically an industrial machine for me.

The issue I continue to have is the Right Needle and Upper Looper keep collide I've only had it for 5 months and haven't used it very much. I understand most people don't have any problems with this machine, but it looks like a notable number of people do have this issue with a small amount of usage

I love this serger. I use it for seams mainly and haven't gotten into the other things it can do, but for the price it is a workhorse and extremely well made. Stitch Performance excellent and consistent seams. Ease of Use Easy to thread, seldom breaks threads or needles.

I have never used a serger and was afraid of threading it. I watched a lot of youtube while I was waiting for the machine to come and helped a lot on everything. First thing before you use it oil it, it tells you to oil it before you use it but it's at the end of the instruction book.
