This is a great little food processor for the cook for two chef that wants to limit the prep time of chopping.

Pros: Small size, effective, cheap, built well.

Cons: Limited capacity, no pulse button, too light in weight.

Works ok. Does not really mash up the food as I expected it to. Still need to use a knife on everything especially carrots which sucks. Hard to clean because of so many pieces. To early to tell on it's longevity of life and use.

This is my second one - the first lasted 10 years. Fingers crossed. I especially use it for scrumptious nut pates. The only caveat is that it will not grind really dense nuts without stress to the motor. Ideal for a small family or small batches of foods - 2 to 3 cups.

I had a similar mini Cuisinart processor that I used for many years. It finally started acting like it was maybe not going to last much longer so I went looking for a replacement. Got really lucky with this little treasure.

It delivers exactly what you would hope in high class construction and works perfect. It is great to make whipped sauces like bernaise and hollindaze. Also works super to chopped things like garlic and shallots for smaller needs. Also perfect to make pesto and meat rubs like jerk sauce.

My husband and I put the Cuisinart Mini Prep on our wedding registry -- we'd heard good things about Cuisinart's quality and we thought it was going to be the just right size when cooking for the two of us. Overall, we really like the Mini Prep.

This replace my older mini food processor which the motor of the old still working. After about 12 years of great use. The problem with it was that after all the years the plastic of the blade started to peel.
