This Bluetooth speaker is exactly what I was looking for! Perfect size with a very convenient carrying handle. The sound is AWESOME! There are three choices for bass which is great. The light show is fun to play with or you can turn it off. Great quality! I expect that from JBL products!

I have a friend who uses his encore in his car because the bass response is far better than his car speakers. It's plenty loud and hits bass notes pleasantly loud, even with bass boost off. I recently got one myself because it was time to upgrade my Flip 5. I'm in love with it.

Pros: Loud, responsive, easy to use

Cons: It feels bulky. However it's only 18 lbs and is the smallest of the party boxes, so if you want less bulky don't get a party box. Battery life is the same as my flip 5. But still, it's the smallest party box. Go bigger if you need more.

This speaker exceeded my expectations. I absolutely love the quality of this speaker and it sounds SO good. The bass is insane and has been more than enough indoors and out. I highly recommend and can’t wait to buy a second. I contemplate buying the party box on the go and also the boombox 3.

Great speaker love the sound and the fact that you can sync more than one together to make a pair. HOWEVER the speaker pictured is not the actual speaker. The one pictured is a different model which confused me when I initially purchased the speaker.

The speaker is great and helps to connect to a larger speaker we bought before. With this speaker we can hear the same music inside and outside the house during our parties

For the price at the time, this is an amazing speaker. Many more expensive speakers can't live up to it.

The sound on this unit is epic I placed it in my bedroom in the corner and oh boy the bass is ridiculous take the charger as with any wireless unit depending on how long you play the battery life but you got a solid 6.5 hours continuous before charging needing to charge after that another 1.5 hours...

I bought one speaker and had to get me another one. To not only set it up for my home but for when I host parties and do my outdoor theater. The sound quality, clarity and bass is ridiculously sick.
