I have been interested in the Peninsular War for nearly forty years specialising in the campaigns involving the British Army. During my research I have reprinted several rare works including the trilogy starting with 'Strictures on Napier's History of the Peninsular War and the correspondance between C E Long and Beresford. My first book 'The Fatal Hill' was centred around the battle of Albuera. My Book 'Wellington's Engineers' about the Royal Engineers during the Peninsular war was published in 2015.
