Got this product due to my previous Bluetooth dongle not detecting some of my devices, such as an Xbox controller. Glad to say this one works for all my devices. When you download the TP-Link drivers, it installs version Bluetooth 5.3 firmware.

My grandmother got a new computer, and gave me her old computer. Due to changes in software the internal Bluetooth module no longer worked. I installed the adapter and the corresponding software and now I have full Bluetooth functionality on a 13 year old computer.

Unfortunately this struggles with windows 7 which is what it was bought for but I'm going to keep it as I will be upgrading my PC soon. Seems to be good quality and is small.

It's wonderful and allows your Bluetooth keyboard and mouse to connect to your computer. Love not have to have all these different usbs plugged in.

So much better than my in-built Bluetooth adapter, which would constantly drop or have high latency. Very good adapter and would recommend.

worked with laptop for 2 weeks then failed to connect to headphones, tried a desktop and it failed to pair with a different set of headphones.

The adapter is connected to a USB 3.0 port on my tower, in terms of transfer rate its relatively fast and consistent. With regards to range, I cant really say because my devices are less than 2m away from my tower.

It is a replacement for the Bluetooth board built into the computer; which apparently burnt out.
