I had been using the T4U for a few years but found it buggy and erratic. lately it seemed worse and there have been no FW updates for a while. I saw the TX20UPlus and reviews seemed good. Price was attractive and cheaper than the price I paid for the T4U a few years ago.

Good speed and decent range. My issue was that my apartment is two stories, 1600 SF, with a concrete slab separating the floors. Had good range on the first floor, where the router is (120-200Mbps), but my home office on the opposite side of the 2nd floor was only getting (3Mbps).

I upgraded from a small "all-in-one" USB wireless adapter. There is a massive improvement in throughput (speed). I highly recommend this unit.

My previous wireless adapter was having issues connecting to my modem using 5Ghz. This one connects instantly and holds the connection effortlessly. It was very easy to install. Also my download speed has greatly increased since installing this. Very happy with it.

Purchased this to use with the Google Wifi, It was able to find both 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz and connected to 2.5GHz with decent speed and strength. However when I tried to connected to the 5.0 GHz (I use the same SSID for both 2.4 and 5.0, which might be the issue) it would not stay connected.

the tp-link antenna greatly improves WiFi transmission range. much cheaper than installing extra APs

Performs quite as expected. Has been my reference unit for my development work for support under OpenEmbedded/Yocto Has more than adequate throughput on the emebdded devices and my laptop in testing and use. Keep in mind that this is a USB3 device for good reason.

Just got it and set it up on my desktop (which has a ethernet connection) to give a test. Was easy to set up. Pretty sure Windows got the drivers automatically for me. Was able to connect to wifi just like if I was using a windows laptop. Tested speed compared to my wired connection.
