With my existing Optimum WiFi extender 6 my WFH office machine/desktop was getting network disconnects frequently. Say once every hour. After getting this router which has sperate names for 2.4 GHz & 5 Ghz, I put our office machines (desktops) on 5 Ghz and all else on 2.4.Ghz.

So it works well on speed tests. Set up is typical in that you have to know what you are doing if anything is beyond the basics. In my case I needed the 2.4G band besides 5G and I got it to work and it works well, and you can set the better encryption and it warns you.

The throughput is excellent, the wifi6 offers great speeds, easy menu system, overall a great product and it is much improved from my old router, i am very happy with it. It has enough frills that it does everything I need.

The product works but the speed is horrible! 28mbps DL // 46mbps UPL on a 150mbps wifi N connection from a 1Gbps freebox rvolution fibre. This symptom of DL being slower than UPL happens to a lot of people but remains unresolved.

A very good router. Uses MAC address for White listing and black listing devices. It would be very helpful if it showed the IP it assigned to each MAC address. I have not been able to setup my print server to access my printer yet. It was not hard on my previous router.

It's faster than what we had before but it's limited in features. The parental controls are clunky and limited in number of devices and groups. You can only update device configs while they're connected, so if the kid turns off their device you can't see it.

I've had to go into the windows settings of the card to force the 5 Ghz connection, so that it doesn't drag on the 2.5 Ghz.
