good router for price, it can merge the 2.4g and 5g as one connection, so you only need one wifi to connect to and get full speed of 5g and range of 2.4g when far away. can work as ap. bought this to extend my isp routers range but it completely replaces it. very strong wifi signal.

This router is quite compact, it has 4 gigabit ports + a WAN port, decent settings, very little parental controls or firewall settings. It excels as acting as an extender or NAT devices for your ONT device. It can be wall mounted.

The router has a nice web UI that also works on mobile (no dark mode tho). The indicator lights are nice and dim. My biggest complaint is there is no Wireless Mac Filter. It only has Access Control which filters everything rather than just wireless devices.

I recently bought this product to improve connectivity in my household and I am so happy with the results, easy to connect and use as an AP with great range and connectivity to all devices. I would definitely recommend.

I bought this to replace an aging 100M switch and separate AP. Works great, may buy another to replace my main router and mesh the two.

I was unable to register most of my smart home devices on this router even with assistance from TP Link Support. The router is advertised with several highly suitable features to my application, but didn't meet my expectations.
