I'd recommend this product. Note that a PoE injector is not included.

The NanoStation 5AC Loco is a great solution for PtP or PtMP bridges. I have 3 total, with one acting as the AP in a 2 client PtMP setup with one one each other end as well. The 2 clients are about 90 degrees apart from each other. One client is about 1200 feet away, the other is about half a mile.

This units name is misleading. you can manage it with a Wifi connection but it is useless until you buy another one, and a extra wifi access point if you want to use it to bridge and connect to a remote wifi device... their older units would do this... step backwards.

These are great units but I don't like that no poe power unit is included. I am using a non gigabit poe currently. I am transmitting 200 yards through the solid wall of a house and 1 tree to a barn with < -55 dBM link only achieved after refining the frequency using the air-magic function on the web...

I have used many ubiquiti products through the years. In a former life i worked for a wireless internet provider. Ubiquiti was all they used, and its all i will use. Inexpensive, always reliable...and the new interface makes setting up a ptp link childsplay!!

******* These are airMAX ONLY, they aren't standard 802.11ac wifi which means they only work with Ubiquiti airMAX 5ghz radios. The older NanoStation M5 allows you to turn off airMAX if needed. ******* As far as this radio goes, they're great for short range applications.

So easy to install (just google or youtube for quick install instructions) - and this set is my second "pair" - this connects my gate to the house (more than 100m apart) - and works first time with awesome throughput. For this price and performance - it is too good to be true.

Used a pair of those to "extend" wifi to a rural chalet. As the distance is only about 300m couldn't test the full range. If you want to minimise number of wires consider getting NS 5AC (non loco) with 2 PoE ports which allows to power remote camera off the 2nd PoE port.

Very easy to use, very quick response time got good speed, but here is a catch, these POE devives do not follow standardise POE configurations so you will need to buy either a convertor from Ubiquiti POE to standand say 802.3af POE to work or just a Ubiquiti POE injector.

I've got two of these setup as an outdoor wifi bridge between two rural buildings. The configuration was a bit of a challenge but the resultant reliable 5GHz link was worth the effort. A great product!
