I use my Forerunner 955 for running, trail running, hiking, swimming, biking, mountain biking, and pickleball - and it handles them all very well. The display is bright and works with my polarized sunglasses. It took a bit to get used to the touch-screen but now I really like it.

Had to upgrade from my trusty 945. I have not used it to its full capacity as yet (swimming) however I can say it is a heck of a lot smoother than the 945. On indoor + outdoor bike, hiking and indoor + outdoor runs I have been impressed.

Really enjoy this watch! Great capabilities, looks great, and is very light! Have used it on a few runs, and it's worked without issue. You can also customize the various screens with the information that is relevant to you. Battery capacity is quite good.

I sampled a friends Fenix 6x Pro before investing in any Garmin watch. The Forerunner 955 has basically the same features, at least enough that I haven’t noticed much difference in Fx. I love the detail it allows me to input during workouts- and can tweak in the Garmin connect app afterwards.

Love this watch, I've upgraded from a 945 and the differences are worth it, I love the 'morning report' and all the other data. I've recently had a cold the HRV seemed to give an accurate assessment of how I was feeling.

I am loving this watch. I am training for a marathon and love the feedback I get from Garmin. I would definitely recommend.

I bought the forerunner 955 about a month ago and so far I'm loving it. I love the sleek look of it. I generally use it for hiking and walking. So far it is doing everything I need it to. I'm still learning new features all the time. I do wish the battery lasted a little bit longer.

I’ve used (and abused crashing) my Garmin Forerunner 955 and couldn’t recommend it more. Battery life is incredible, the touchscreen works super well even when the display is wet, connectivity is really good too!

What an amazing watch!! So many features and so very informational. Strongly recommended for triathletes.

Great watch to replace my 945 which I hung onto as long as I could. This newer version has more features and runs smoother. Faster capture of GPS signal and I like that it calculates HRV overnight. Lots more configurability from audible alerts during workouts to different display options.
